British Simmental: July 2022 Newsletter & Herd Competition Updates

The British Simmental July Newsletter and Herd Competition details forthcoming events, including a commercial open day on Sunday, August 7th, and the Herd Competition awards evening on Thursday, August 25th. The newsletter provides information on these events, and the Herd Competition Entry Form is available with a closing date of August 10th, 2022. The commercial open day is limited to 50 attendees, with early booking offered to Cornwall and South West clubs by July 30th. The herd competition judge will travel from Scotland to assess Cornish pedigree and commercial herds culminating in an awards evening at Constantine Social Club. Dinner choices for the awards evening must be booked by August 22nd, 2022, at £17.50 per head, offering Beef Pie, Chicken Katsu Curry, or Sticky Toffee Pudding/Cheesecake. Additionally, save the date for the Club Dinner and Dance on Friday, October 7th, and contact breeders, buyers, businesses, friends, and family to make up tables. The committee requires an idea of numbers by September 14th. Congratulations are extended to all members who exhibited at the Royal Cornwall Show and other shows, with impressive results in inter-breed and young handlers classes.
