Third and fourth highest prices came from the same stable, both bred by Mr & Mrs J Olds, Bosahan Farm, Constantine, Falmouth. TR11 5QB. Third was BOSAHAN ILIAD 17. A SKERRINGTON ARMADA 09 son out of a STERLING JOSIE’S NOONTIME daughter, he was sold for 4500 gns and was purchased by PL Heard, Okehampton.

Topping the Female trade at 3,400 gns was RAVENSDALE OLIVE 16TH, bred by Mr MKD Hind, Wadhurst, Essex. Sired by HEATHBROW EX FACTOR 13 and out of a RAVENSDALE OLIVE (P) daughter, she was purchased by Mr B Harding, Denham, Buckinghamshire (Hallway).

Topping the trade on the day at 4,300 gns was lot 19, the Female and Overall Champion, MIDHOPE I AM THE BEST, bred by WJ Hollingsworth, Midhope Hall Farm, Midhopestone, Sheffield. S36 4GW. A WOODHALL ELLISON 13 daughter out of a MIDHOPE ETTIE daughter, she was purchased by Mr SW Smith, Ufton Fields Farm, Oakerthorpe, Alfreton, DE55 7LQ.

Second-highest female price, selling for 2,600 gns was lot number 14, LOPEMEDE WHEAT EAR 4, bred by J Rixon Ltd, Lopemede Farm, Thame OX9 3SH, and exhibited by Nigel Darling, Long Meadow Barn, Intwood, Norwich NR4 6TQ. Sold with her six-month-old heifer calf at foot, this HESTEHAVEN EBENHARD daughter out of an OAKHILL NELLY 10th daughter was purchased by CF Parker, Newsham Grange, Little Newsham, Darlington DL2 3QW.

Next, at 2,200 gns was lot number 16, BLUE CEDAR ECHO, bred by Nigel Darling, Long Meadow Barn, Intwood, Norwich NR4 6TQ. This WROXALL ABACUS 09 daughter out of a LOPEMEDE SANDRA 2 daughter was also sold with a heifer calf at foot, to a buyer in Chesterfield.

Achieving the same price of 2,200 gns was lot 22, BURGHBRIDGE HENRIETTA 11th, bred by CJG Clarke and Partners, Villa Farm, Otley, IP6 9PB. A CORSKIE FREDDY 14 daughter out of a BURGHBRIDGE HENRIETTA daughter, she sold to PA Cade, Paddock Farm, Buckden, PE19 5UW.

 Top price for bulls of 2,800 gns was shared by two animals. First was lot 9, HEATHBROW INFAMOUS 17, bred by DA & LA Sapsed, High Heath Farm, Codicote, Hitchin, SG4 8SZ. A HEATHBROW GRAND SLAM 15 son out of a HOCKENHULL GIRLIE 13th daughter to a buyer in Horncastle.

Also selling at 2,800 gns was lot 11, BURGHBRIDGE ISAIAH 17, a CORSKIE FREDDY 17 son out of a BURGHBRIDGE FAUNA daughter. Bred by CJG Clarke and Partners, Villa Farm, Otley, IP6 9PB, he was purchased by a buyer in Hogsthorpe.
